Banana Cavendish Cultivars
1 / Excel Premium
Tall variety, conic pseudostem, big cylindrical bunch, big space between the hands for long export standard fingers. Tough and resistant variety, better than Grand Nain in harsh climatic conditions and problematic soils.
2 / Grand Nain
Common cultivar grown throughout all banana growing areas around the world. Cylindrical bunch with long fingers. Under optimal growing conditions yield heavier bunch than Williams but suffers in marginal soils.
3 / Giant Grand Nain
A Grand Naine enhancement, tall tree with extraordinary bunch weight (many hands and long fingers). Grows well in all types of soils and climate.
4 / Williams
Williams is a Ginosar clone selected from the world's most popular export variety. It has big spaces between the hands. Williams is favourable due to its resistance to drought, hard climate conditions and problematic soils.
5 / Jordan
Short height clone from Willams cultivar, resistant to wind and cold. It yields more number of hands and fingers, space between the hands are small resulting in higher bunch weight.
6 / Zelig
Short Grand Nain cultivar, wind resistant, especially agile under sub tropical conditions (cold season) and yields 2 bunches in 16 months, many long fingers in each bunch.

Plants are packed in our special ZEO pack lining in cardboard or thermic boxes for long distance transport. The plants remain fresh at destination.

Company pack plants grown in 50 mm plugs in plastic cups for direct planting at field. We advice farmers to use this product where there is high humidity in atmosphere during transplantation. High Sun with low humidity in field causes death of plant.
